It has been awhile, I know...I really don't get to play even half as much as I used to because of my school schedule....I work 8-5 M-F and then I go to school afternoon/night and Mon. and Wed. I dont get home until like 8:30. So I can't make the time commitment for MTTs very much on week nights anymore, and I am always busy on the weeekends...Don't get me wrong, I am still a loser gambling degenerate...Its now football season, so I am in weekly pots as well as occassional wagering on Bodog...I don't have much to show for the little I have played, I have been playing pretty well in MTTs, gettin chips early and holding on to them for the 1st couple of hours, only to misplay a hand or get shafted by some idiot who tries to give his chips to me.
I am not much a freeroll guy, mainly b/c there are usually to many people for to small of a prizepool, and its not worth the time...Well,
PokerSavvy had been pimpin this freeroll, part of their blogger tour, for quite some time, and I figured I would atleast check it out...It was a $1000 prize pool, which many are, but it only ended of having 21 people....now thats +EV....Top 3 paid...500, 300, 200....I played really well, and got 3rd....I mainly wanted to just make the money, so when I did, I got KQos next hand and pushed only to get called by Ax and lose....but hey....FREEROLL....like 1.5 hours maybe....Ill take $200 every day of the week...
